Bid Manager:

Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Waterloo - Becket House


We have a great opportunity for a Bid Manager to join our highly successful facilities management division which is part of our wider energies & services business.


Our facilities management business offers a bespoke service through a client-centric delivery model, focusing on supporting your brand, customers and employees.


Key activities

  • Lead the bidding of new FM tenders primarily in the private sector with a value range of opportunities usually between £1m £5m p/a
  • Meet the customers' requirements for each bid by creating winning solutions
  • To formulate the bid strategy and win themes for each tender
  • To win and close profitable and deliverable contracts through commercial management and identification of legal/operational and finance risks
  • Lead and manage the (virtual or real) bid team for each bid, including the coordination of bid support from within the Company, consortium and supply chain partners
  • To represent the Company with Client, Advisers and other stakeholders
  • Manage the negotiations and commercial discussions on each bid opportunity
  • To support the Head of Work Winning deliver growth activities in accordance with the Business Plan
  • Maintain internal and external network of contacts to enhance personal and corporate reputation and success in chosen sectors
  • To attend a range of external industry events to promote the company brand and products to generate new business and development of relationships

Skills & qualifications

  • Previous experience in Bid Management role is essential
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Strong team leader and player with the ability to motivate the team
  • Able to work to absolute deadlines planning work accordingly
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proactive, flexible and creative approach
  • Understanding of pricing and labour loading is desirable
