As a Talent Development Specialist, you will play an important role in achieving this aspiration by helping new employees get started and make an impact in their first year at Intuit.
Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate weekly learning sessions and workshops along with managing the day-to-day logistics for various onboarding programs.
Managing day to day logistics includes scheduling and tracking sessions with various partners, communicating with participants and managers, and developing learning tools and resources for our employees.
You will gain valuable experience and insights from the world of talent development while honing your ability to proactively solve problems and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
This role is uniquely in service of bringing that promise to life for all employees, and is always to be innovative and evolving.
What you'll bring:
- 26+ years experience
- Excellent classroom facilitation skills (virtually led & in person)
- Adept in adult learning theory and learner centric methodologies
- Strong business acumen
- Proactive and selfmotivated
- Scrappy, agile and able to independently solve customer & partner problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain relationships
- Experience creating SOPs, flow charts, and other visual aids to tell a story and influence cross functional partners
- Proficiency in using the following platforms is a plus: Zoom, Google Suite, Smartsheets & Canva
How you will lead:
- Facilitate onboarding learning sessions and workshops (blended learning experiences)
- Manage daytoday logistics of learning programs (scheduling, updating materials, communications, signups, attendance, reporting etc.)
- Automate and improve existing processes
- Partner with multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Build relationships with our customers
- Collect quantitative and qualitative feedback, innovate & implement solutions
- Update and maintain talent development, tools and resources
- Provide support for the broader Talent Development team on special projects
- Partner with Procurement and Legal to complete the contracting process with vendors
