Overview:


As a Store Manager/Director, you are a dedicated member of the Greenhouse team, you will play an integral role in providing an exceptional in-store experience to each of our community members.

You are engaging, articulate, and passionate about our products and excited by the opportunity to connect customers to the Greenhouse brand.

The Store Manager/Director is accountable for the financial health of your business, the retention and development of your team, the engagement of our community, and for providing the best customer service in the business.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing team members who are sincere and genuine in their approach to customer service
  • Providing mentorship to all levels of your team, and developing them to be brand ambassadors
  • Taking 100% accountability and ownership of the financial health of your store and managing key performance metrics on the P&L
  • Managing payroll and scheduling for your team, within the labour budget and cost
  • Managing your store's inventory and waste, through effective ordering and counting
  • Utilizing various reporting and analytical platforms for planning, reporting and meeting and exceeding your goals
  • Completing performance reviews and performance development plans for each of your team members
  • Acting as a liaison between your store and the support office; providing timely communication of expectations, changes, promotional information, areas of opportunity, successes, etc.
  • Always challenging the norm and striving to do better—working with a growth mindset and optimism to grow, innovate, and show entrepreneurial spirit

Desired Skills & Qualifications:


  • Previous employment experience in retail or customer service
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a managerial role
  • Full weekend availability and during store operating hours
  • Ability to inspire and motivate yourself and your team
  • A high degree of passion and knowledge about natural health and wellness is an asset
  • Knowledge of the Greenhouse brand and product offerings is an asset
