WHAT TO EXPECT

Hose Specialist is a team member of the Industrial Pricing Team, reporting to a Quoting Manager. The Hose Specialist position will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications and hose routings to ensure accurate bill of Materials and pricing.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Review and check production specifications to ensure accuracy
  • Manage the label and documentation databases
  • Responsible for completing and managing Engineering Order Workflows
  • Coordinate production solutions by collaborating with Pricing, Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Correspond with CSR, ASM as well as customer contacts to ensure proper approvals
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum: BS/BA or equivalent (8 years of experience) with 1 year of pricing experience.
  • Preferred: BS/BA or equivalent (8 years of experience) with 5 years of sales, marketing, or pricing experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:


  • Fundamental understanding of business concepts, pricing concepts and financial metrics.
  • Demonstrates initiative and problemsolving skills.
  • Capable of analyzing customer drawings/prints to determine complexity and build capabilities.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical analysis.
  • High level of efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Lotus Notes is desired.
