Marketing Specialist

Are you a versatile marketing professional built to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment? If so, here's an exciting opportunity to join the team at KAT Media, a marketing agency based in Belleville. We specialize in marketing for the trucking industry, working across all channels to build our clients' brands and bolster their recruiting efforts. We're driven by data, taking a highly strategic approach to everything we do, but we also live and breathe creativity and never shy away from big ideas.

The Role
As our Marketing Specialist, you're on your way to becoming a versatile full-stack marketer.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Write copy for advertising, social media, websites and blogs
Manage social media channels
Manage digital advertising campaigns
Travel to trade shows across North America and capture content
Plan marketing campaigns and build content calendars
Dig into data analysis and reporting
Drive projects forward
Design marketing materials as needed

You may not have all of these skills already. But if you have a few, and you're willing to learn, let's talk

The Person

You have 2+ years of relevant experience in a marketing role
You're detailoriented and well organized
You have excellent critical thinking and problemsolving skills
You're a learnaholic who stays on top of marketing trends
You're excited to travel periodically within North America (must have a valid passport)
You're resilient and don't let client feedback get under your skin
You have outstanding spoken and written communication skills
You're accountable and possess a sense of urgency to get things done
You have the legal right to work in Canada

A postsecondary certificate or degree in marketing or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
