    RAD Brewing is the newest entrant on the burgeoning Comox Valley food & beverage scene and proud to be part of a community that loves and supports Craft Beer We opened our Taproom in August 2023 and we have started to cultivate a solid following, and our beers have been met with great reviews Our kitchen delivers fresh tapas-style share plates.

    We are in a high-traffic area with plenty of parking, right in the heart of downtown Comox and steps away from the marina–with two amazing patios.

    RAD Brewing is owned by Ben, Craig, and Chris–three local business people who started Church St. The Taphouse has become the favourite local community gathering place and we have big plans for the Brewery to follow in the same direction
    We're looking for an experienced manager who can help us drive the business forward. This won't be the first time you've managed a hospitality based business.

    We're also looking for a leader with the following qualities:

    As a key member at RAD, you will support our vision of creating a gathering place in Comox that is fun, vibrant, and delivering high quality customer experiences.

    Ensure the taproom and kitchen operate efficiently and effectively, maintaining food quality, service, and cleanliness
    Oversee all aspects of the taproom's daily operations in partnership with our Head Chef Dave, including kitchen management, taproom scheduling, inventory and vendor management, customer service, and overall taproom and kitchen cleanliness and maintenance
    Manage budgets, payroll, tip-outs, and cost controls

    Collaborate with brewery management and our Head Brewer Tyler on production schedules to ensure the taproom serves high-demand beer customers love.

    Develop the taproom and kitchen budget in partnership with ownership
    Manage the taproom and kitchen budget, including labour costs, supply procurement, and inventory control
    Recruit, hire, train, and manage taproom staff
    Foster a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and growth across the taproom and kitchen, including growth in beer and product knowledge
    Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop leadership among team members to ensure a high level of staff engagement and retention
    Manage promotions, events, and bookings to attract new customers and retain existing ones
    Ensure compliance with all municipal, provincial, and federal regulations regarding health & safety, alcohol service, and employment
