Position Summary:

The job cost analyst/contract billing clerk will be responsible for communicating with the project managers on an ongoing basis to review the in progress projects to obtain the necessary information to produce the invoice/progress billing for each job and to monitor the costs for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull job numbers as required
• Set up new jobs on the computer
• Set up and maintain hard copy job files
• Print and distribute job lists on as weekly basis
• Prepare statutory declarations and arrange to have them notarized
• Prepare and post all billings, ensure they are emailed or mailed to correct general contractor/customer on or before their due date
• Prepare and post PST self assessment entries and inventory transfers
• Prepare and post any other adjustments that are required
• Research and prepare any special documentation required by the project manager in order to fulfill the contract obligations, this could include insurance requirements, bid documents and any financial history information pertaining to FVRL
• Any other requirements requested by the project manager or accountant

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Basic bookkeeping skills or certificate
• Excel and Word experience
• Relevant office experience
• Billing software experience
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
