    Description
    Our client is a technology firm specializing in Physical AI and advanced software platforms designed to transform traditional robotic automation into autonomous, intelligent systems. The company's primary mission is to democratize complex automation for the High-Mix, Low-Volume (HMLV) manufacturing sector by eliminating the technical barriers associated with traditional robot programming.

    Key Responsibilities

    ·    

    • Lead the architecture and development of sophisticated 3D machine vision systems for industrial robots, delivering high levels of accuracy, reliability, and performance.
    • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams—robotics, software, and systems engineers—to tightly integrate 3D vision technology into robotic platforms.
    • Oversee and refine the integration of 3D sensors with robotic systems to maximize overall system precision and operational throughput.
    • Create, enhance, and maintain algorithms for data acquisition, image processing, point cloud handling, and object recognition to ensure robust visual perception capabilities.
    • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems in machine vision systems to guarantee stable, reliable operation in harsh industrial environments


    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering
    • Proven experience designing and developing 3D machine vision systems (ideally for industrial automation or robotics)
    • Strong programming skills in Python, C#, and C++ with relevant libraries and tools; solid grasp of software architecture and object-oriented programming; strong knowledge of 3D sensing technologies (e.g., MVTec Halcon, point cloud/mesh processing)
    • Practical experience with image segmentation, including deep-learning methods such as SAM (Segment Anything Model) for industrial vision; and strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills in multidisciplinary teams.
