Position Overview:


What You Will Do:


  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to identify and execute hiring strategies.
  • Complete full cycle recruitment practices that create diversified and strong talent pools that ultimately lead to successful new hires.
  • Lead the endtoend recruitment process by navigating potential road blocks and ensuring the recruitment is moving efficiently.
  • Provide professional advice and recommendations to leadership and HR team related to current recruitment best practices and trends.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external job applicants providing timely status updates.
  • Engage with the public and represent IMP at networking functions and recruitment events.
  • Maintain tracking and data related to recruitment statistics and trends.

What You Will Bring:


  • Minimum 1 year of recent recruitment experience with proven ability to recruit technical and nontechnical positions.
  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources Management (undergraduate degree with concentration in HR or undergraduate degree with post grad HR specialization).
  • Solid understanding of full cycle recruitment with demonstrated ability in behavioral interviewing and highvolume recruitment.
  • Technologically savvy and previous experience working in online recruitment platforms. Familiarity with Taleo and Abode Workspace would be considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of human resources principles and practices including human rights and employment equity legislation. Familiarity with Canadian immigration process is an asset.
  • Ability to travel is required as travel is anticipated to attend recruitment and networking events on behalf of IMP.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle stressful situations in a fast paced, diverse environment.
  • Must have a sense of urgency with strong internal client focus and the ability to influence others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of all required MS Office software.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC
  • Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
