Through culturally responsive programs, food security services, respite support, and community education, we aim to foster empowerment and inclusivity for all.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Skills Development Instructor to lead beginner-level computer literacy classes for our community members. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Arabic and English and passionate about teaching essential digital skills to help participants gain confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons in both Arabic and English across a variety of skill-building topics.
- Design interactive, technology-supported lesson plans to engage learners.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Use computer tools, software, and online platforms to enhance instruction.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Continuously develop teaching methods and adapt to new educational strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve programs and curriculum.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic and English (required).
- Strong computer literacy and ability to use digital teaching tools.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt teaching approaches.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous teaching or training experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
