Service Technician/installer - Halifax, Canada - EcoWater Nova Scotia Ltd. (A Growing Company)

Description

• Responsible for troubleshooting product for required repairs
• Routinely change water filters, clean and sanitize water tanks, change UV bulbs, visually inspect for leaks and malfunctions
• Perform service and other jobrelated duties as assigned
• Responsible for following company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Technician will have strong technical and mechanical aptitude, have familiarity with basic tools and maintain ability to transport both equipment and tools to customer sites
• Regular and reliable attendance

• Must have a strong mechanical background
• Provide references specific to the service and installation of both residential and commercial water treatment.
• You will be required to perform an aptitude test, both written and manual.
• Must have superior customer service skills and neat in appearance
• Must be able to work well with others
• Technical school degree an asset
• Must have own tools
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment where quantity and quality go hand in hand

• Friday, however, must be flexible and able to occasionally travel (overnight). Accommodations provided by employer.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 70 pounds
• Valid driver's license (clear driver's abstract and criminal record check upon job offer)

• 8 hour shift

• Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
