Description

Duties:

Create detailed 2D animations and drawings of mechanical components and systems
Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and refine mechanical designs
Examine drawings for conformity and errors
Updated reviewed drawings to reflect changes and/or errors/omissions
Produce drawings for shop fabrication/installation and relevant detailing
Distribute projects, submittals, approvals and drawing requests
Assist in the development of technical documentation, including assembly instructions and user manuals
Conduct quality control checks on completed drawings and animations to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications
Create custom designs as required to meet customer requirements

Experience:

Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Inventor, for creating 2D animations and drawings
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to interpret technical specifications
Experience in building and assembling mechanical components or systems
Experience with manufacturing ERP software would be considered an asset
Project management experience
Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams

Note:
Experience with 3D modeling software or knowledge of manufacturing processes would be a plus, but not required.
