Contributes to the overall success of the Research team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


Is this role right for you? In this role, you will**:

  • Work closely with the Global Investment Team and members of the Sustainable Investment Committtee to:
  • Perform ESG research on investee companies,
  • Support proxy voting operations and research
  • Perform climaterelated analysis in support of JFL's climate action plan
  • Execute other adhoc projects, such as diversity & Inclusion research, data organization, research on emerging ESG trends, and preparation for company engagements
  • Understand how JFL's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with the firm's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

  • Demonstrated passion for ESG-related matters and investment management
  • Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze large volumes of data and metrics
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present ideas and findings
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment while also able to work independently and show initiative by taking ownership of assigned projects
  • Analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Word and Excel
