Temporary, Part time (Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 12:30pm)

Campus Administrator

Salary:

Classification 12, $ $26.33 per hour, as per BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.50/hr. in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.

Description:

Financial Aid Officers provide information and guidance to new and returning students about budgeting; student financial assistance programs including loans, awards, and grants; funding eligibility and selection criteria; and student loan repayment options.

The role also supports the administration of government student financial assistance, institutional awards and scholarships, and emergency aid programs, following established processes and criteria.

**This is a term position with an end date of November 22, 2024.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED:_
Successful completion of a oneyear certificate (minimum 30 credits) in Business Management or Applied Business Technology (or equivalent).
Oneyear related experience in lending, banking, or financial management.
Experience and proficiency with a current version of MS Office Suite (excel, word, outlook, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including meeting deadlines and working effectively in a team.
The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise tact, diplomacy, discretion, and sensitivity is essential.
Current and valid driver's license (some travel may be necessary).
