    Job Description:

    We are a leader in municipal design and delivery of civil infrastructure for more than 80 years and are looking for highly skilled and motivated Municipal Project Manager to join our team in the Greater Toronto Region.

    We have a great working relationship with municipalities across Ontario, with consistent municipal work in conventional project delivery and are looking for a strong leader who has demonstrated technical excellence in municipal design and linear infrastructure projects. You will be responsible to oversee and manage project planning, execution, and monitoring from initiation through completion by working closely with our technical internal disciplines, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within the approved budget.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Act as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.
    • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and ensure adherence to project objectives and constraints.
    • Coordinate project teams, assign tasks, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
    • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project deliverables.
    • Conduct quality review of project deliverables to ensure they meet established standards and client requirements.
    • Monitor project progress, track milestones and prepare regular status reports.
    • Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
    • Manage project scope, schedule and budget, and implement changes as necessary to ensure project success.
    • Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates of trusting concerns and managing expectations.
    • Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings to support the project.
    • Conduct project meetings including kickoff meeting, progress meetings, post-project review meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards through the project life cycle.
    • Foster positive team environment, promote teamwork and collaboration, and provide guidance and support to team members, as needed.
    • Supports the execution of business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project and Municipal Business Line.
    • Monitors and reports progress of key project activities, including significant milestones, or any conditions that could affect scope, schedule or budget.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    • P.Eng registration with PEO
    • Client relationship within the GTR is an asset.
    • 10+ years of related municipal design and leadership experience inclusive of design-build experience.
    • Excellent written and oral communications
