Assist course instructor:
Collaborate closely with the course instructor to plan, organize, and deliver course materials effectively.

Student support:
Provide guidance and support to students in their understanding of course content and assignments. Foster a positive learning environment.

Grading and feedback:
Offer constructive and formative feedback to students to support them in their learning. Assist in grading written and practical assessments.

Facilitate discussions:

Lead or facilitate group discussions, workshops, simulation activities, or study sessions to enhance students' understanding of course concepts and encourage active participation.


Administrative tasks:

Assist in administrative tasks such as maintaining course records, organizing materials on the online course platform (MyCourses), and helping with course logistics.


Technology integration:
Proficiently use course management systems and other educational technology tools to support the delivery of course materials


Collaboration:
Collaborate with other teaching assistants and faculty members to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience for students.


Salary:
$33.03/hour

Desired Major(s): Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy or Rehabilitation Sciences or related field

Desired Degree Level:
Masters, PhD, or Grad Dips & Certs


Qualifications:
Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill

Strong knowledge of anti-oppressive and/or equity-focused and/or trauma-informed healthcare practice

Strong knowledge of professional practice principles in healthcare contexts

Strong communication skills

Graduate teaching experience is not mandatory but considered an asset

Must be eligible to work in Canada
