Gear Cutting Machinist - North Vancouver
For over 55 years, United Gear has specialized in gearbox refurbishment and enhancement. We manufacture and design gearing and other machined components to support mechanical project design and refurbishment.

Successful Applicants Must Be/Have:

Setup and run various lathes, mills and drilling and tapping equipment.
Minimum 3 years' experience on machines.
Demonstrated machining and mechanical aptitude.
Advanced ability to read drawings, inspect parts and ensure conformance to specifications.
Detailed and clean nature.
Selfdiscipline with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communications skills.
In good physical condition requiring frequent lifting, pulling, pushing.
Located in the lower mainland, and preferably close to the North Shore.
Flexible for shift work options.
Authorized to work in Canada.
