Position overview


Are you a skilled leader with journeyperson experience in a regulated trade? We're looking for a
Manager, Asset Data and Integrity (one year term with the possibility of becoming permanent) to lead a professional team whose focus is on the data integrity and quality of YVR's asset portfolio.

You will be responsible for ensuring that accurate information is obtained to drive current and long-range business decisions, as well as working with asset owners to create asset management plans for various asset categories.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Develop and work with asset owners to create asset management plans for various asset categories
  • Provide leadership to the team including, establishing development plans and annual goals, recommending staff resources, training and hiring, and monitoring work performance
  • Manage multiple and sizeable annual budgets which includes preparing monthly accrual and forecast reports
  • Provide oversight for developing and building contract strategies for major contracts held by the asset management department
  • Outline scope of work and draft RFP documents before they go out for tender

Key qualifications include:


  • At least ten years of experience in an industrial environment, supplemented by a bachelor's degree or diploma in Applied Science, Science or Engineering; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Previous work as a tradesperson, preferably holding more than one ticket, in a regulated trade (such as electrical or plumbing, or certified as a power engineer)
  • Certification as a Technologist with ASTTBC and/or Asset Management Professional (AMP) is preferred
  • A keen eye for detail, an interest in obtaining information from various sources, all while being able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders

Salary Range :
$100,640 to $144,670 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications and internal equity.


Performance-Based Incentive:
Eligible for an annual bonus target at 15% of your annual salary.
