What you'll do
- For the Facilities team:
- This opportunity is for a Full Time Regular P3 Work Program Manager in the existing PCM Stations Portfolio for program
- We are a team of delivery focused professionals that work with many others across BC Hydro to deliver projects and
- to Substation insulator replacements, ground grid upgrades, minor capital upgrades and civil works, fencing, roofing and- delivery of assigned programs and projects within our annual $30M portfolio.
- Define and implement programs within established budget, scope and schedule while meeting quality, safety and reporting
documentation to initiate and accomplish program objectives.- Maintain strong relationships and high levels of engagement with delivery partners to guide work from initiation through to
completion, particularly with Engineering, Operations, Powertech, Supply Chain, Environment, Indigenous Relations, and
- Safety.
- Oversee the work of external delivery partners for engineering, project management and construction management.
- Develop, implement and manage multiyear contracts; oversee contractor performance and supplier relationship
manner using program management principles. This includes reporting on forecasts, variance and risk/issues, manage
- issues and program changes within governance frameworks.
- Use quality assurance principles to assess completed program work and close programs.
- Lead initiatives to improve processes and procedures related to the delivery of work across multiple programs.
- Seek new technology, processes and products that will improve the delivery of current and future work.
What you bring
alternative skillsets, and/or demonstrating a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Five or more years of progressive related experience including delivery of projects/programs or work, with experience
regulatory environments preferred.
- Welldeveloped written and oral communication, facilitation, negotiation and interpersonal skills along with demonstrated
