The Maintenance Inventory Coordinator is an integral part of our cross-functional team, dedicated to optimizing departmental effectiveness and efficiency.

This role is pivotal in providing essential support to the maintenance department, ensuring that all inventories are maintained at optimal levels to facilitate day-to-day maintenance activities.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Execute MRO buyer responsibilities, including organizing, preparing, and issuing RFQ's, PO'S, and PR's.
  • Manage an accurate and organized inventory based on comprehensive analysis of past and future maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with CMMS inventory, conducting audits and maintenance.
  • Write purchase orders and oversee the processing of maintenance requisitions.
  • Facilitate OEM replacement and/or procurement of custommade parts, supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Maintain a reliable network of vendors and suppliers for costeffective and timely support.
  • Verify and update the CMMS system with accurate information for all required data fields.
  • Organize spare parts for easy tracking and accessibility.
  • Receive, verify, and enter inventory into designated areas, including generating new inventory labeling. (barcoding)
  • Assist with cycle counts, kitting, and processing returns to stores.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team on the status of returns.
  • Assist maintenance technicians and other team members in locating and procuring supplies, parts, and equipment.
  • Document and maintain records of checkedout supplies, parts, tools, and equipment for repairs.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in the maintenance shop, warehouse, kitting area, and quarantine areas.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance inventory functions.
  • Adhere to all company safety programs to ensure the highest quality service.

Requirements.

  • Proficient in English for completing required documentation.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing and inventory systems.
  • Mechanical engineering, trades certificate and/or relevant 35 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Mechanical inclination and/or transferable skills from a related industry are considered an asset.
  • Strong problemsolving, basic math, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience with CMMS (Fiix), spreadsheets, databases, and general Microsoft literacy.
  • Posses an internal customer focus and collaborative work attitude.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane and power tools.
  • Note: other duties as assigned.

$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
