    Come join a great team for some fun in the sun this summer Langley City is looking for enthusiastic fitness instructors to teach Aquatic Fitness at our Al Anderson Memorial Outdoor Pool. The successful candidates will design and instruct safe, effective, fun, and appropriate Aquatic Fitness classes to meet the needs of our patrons. The assignments start on May 1, 2026, and end on September 4, 2026.

    Spring Aquafit Classes May 4 – June 28

    Shallow Water Aquafit:

    • Monday 8:00am - 9:00am
    • Wednesday 6:30pm - 7:30pm
    • Friday 8:00am - 9:00am

    Deep Water Aquafit:

    • Tuesday 6:30pm - 7:30pm
    • Wednesday 8:00am - 9:00am
    • Thursday 6:30pm - 7:30pm

    Shallow Water Aquafit:

    • Monday 8:00am - 9:00am
    • Wednesday 7:30pm - 8:30pm
    • Friday 8:00am - 9:00am

    Deep Water Aquafit:

    • Tuesday 7:30pm - 8:30pm
    • Wednesday 8:00am - 9:00am
    • Thursday 7:30pm - 8:30pm

    RATE OF PAY: $ $36.04 per hour (2024 CUPE rates).

    HOURS OF WORK: Dependent on programming and operational needs.

    Casual employees are paid 12.5% of their regular earnings in lieu of benefits and paid annual vacation.

    Aquatic Fitness Instructor certification or equivalent and a current Emergency First Aid Certification and CPR-C are required. Applicants should have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Details of the position and requirements can be found in the job description.
