As a
Technical Writer you will

  • Create a wide range of highquality documentation using clear and concise language
  • Collaborate effectively with internal development, tools and tech to obtain precise information on tools and APIs
  • Direct access to internal tools and technology to verify the validity of technical documentations
  • Responsible for writing, updating, and proofreading of internal communication resources compiling all technical documentation through creative writing and aesthetically pleasing layouts
  • Manage complex documentation projects and support the crossproduct strategy at multiple levels

The experience we need

  • Consistent track record of developing technical documentation for a developer audience
  • An ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and systems and communicate them in a clear manner for the enduser
  • Motivated selfstarter, who independently takes projects through to completion
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word and other MS Office packages
  • Media or Education industries experience is considered an asset

How you will make an impact

  • Effectively partner with counterparts in Design, Development, and Product Delivery in the creation of product documentation that will be consumed by our development teams, stakeholders and TVO's digital audiences
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create resources and communications materials that support the vision and learnings of our digital products
  • Work with key stakeholders to seek clarity in the product materials created and shared across the organization and to support gotomarket strategies
