Director of Information Technology (IT) Services
Full-time, Continuing
***Reporting to the VP Finance and Operations, this position operates as the CIO for the organization. The
Director of IT services is responsible for working with other departments to ensure that the University's
information assets, information technology infrastructure, systems, and services are integrated into and
meet the needs of the University's functions, complying with legislative, regulatory, and other external
requirements. The Director provides leadership in planning, implementing, and maintaining enterprise
information systems to support both distributed and centralized University operations, and a sustainability
and business resilience program encompassing risk management, emergency response, disaster recovery,
and business continuity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds relationships to ensure that use of information resources and related technology is efficient

- Develops, implements and maintains the University's IrT control environment, establishes controls

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in a field related to business, information technology, or a relevant discipline.
- 5 years' experience in an IrT management role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate and
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, developing, and managing staff in response to rapid
- Strong strategic and analytical skills and extensive experience interpreting a strategic vision and
- Strong technology background, current with new and developing technologies, and familiarity with
systems, multiple hardware platforms, integrated information, and communications systems, etc.
- Understanding of current legislation, regulations and codes including but not limited to information
standards, and procedures.
- Ability to develop and monitor multiyear financial budgets which are an accurate reflection of

- Ability to work irregular hours sometimes on weekends or evenings when emergency calls need to

The King's University follows a standardized salary grid. The salary range for the position is $83,000
