Full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week - some overtime may be required.**

The work of Good Shepherd is based on a fundamental belief in providing hope and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable members of our community.

Our services include emergency food, transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth; hospice palliative care; community mental health programs; and supportive housing programs.

We are committed to integrating Harm Reduction practices into our programs and to prioritizing the rights, dignity, and choices of those who use substances.

By integrating a Harm Reduction framework at Good Shepherd, we can decrease barriers to service and better support some of our community's most marginalized members.

How You Will Make an Impact

What You'll Bring to Our Team

  • Postsecondary education in a related field and previous experience in an in a similar capacity
years of progressive experience

  • Demonstrated work ethic in leadership and role modelling of behaviours that demonstrates the Mission, Vision and Values of Good Shepherd Centres
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Applicant Pro
  • Provide service in a dignified and respectful manner that reflects the charism of Good Shepherd Centres and which integrates antioppression/antiracism frameworks
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication
  • Experience managing Outlook Calendar or similar scheduling tools
  • High level of organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, including scheduling, project management, and event planning
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the capacity to make sound decisions quickly, especially in the executive's absence
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
  • The ability to be responsive to the needs of others with a respectful and compassionate demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, computer, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • To observe all Good Shepherd health and safety rules and regulations and to work in a manner that minimizes risk to clients, staff and others as well as to the property of the Good Shepherd Centres.
