We are currently seeking an enthusiastic
Light
Equipment Operator for our Solar Projects in
Joffre (Red Deer) Alberta and potentially other locations throughout Alberta.

You will use your expertise to:
(You will be responsible for performing such duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time by your leader.)

Operate light equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with job site safety plans and company policies and procedures.
Perform preoperational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues to management.
Use equipment to move, load, and unload materials as needed, following instructions from supervisors or team leaders.
Ensure that materials are properly stacked, stored, and secured to prevent damage or accidents.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment, performing routine inspections, oil changes, and other maintenance tasks as required.
Complete required paperwork and documentation related to equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other team members to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
1 2 years experience operating light equipment in a construction or similar environment.
Ability to read and interpret instructions and diagrams related to equipment operation and maintenance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
