We are looking to add a Labourer to our team with a class 1 license to aid crews in construction labour activities and transport trailers and equipment to job sites.

Responsibilities:

Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles and trailers
Secure cargo and heavy equipment to flat deck and double drop deck trucks
Safely drive and operate vehicles out to infrastructure job sites throughout the city
Operate various hand and power tools; including drills, skid steers, etc.
Assist operators in loading and unloading construction materials from trucks both manually and utilizing the use of equipment
Execute daily work under the direction of the site superintendent
Participate in daily safety meetings and fill out hazard assessments
Maintain a clean work site by handling materials and storing them properly
Report incidents immediately to health and safety or site supervisor

Qualifications:

Valid class 1 drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Manual driving experience and ability to drive manual transmission
Ability to work in a labourintensive position and lift up to 50lbs
Preferably, valid safety tickets such as fall arrest, CSTS, confined space, etc.
Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

Hours of Work

Regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm with some evening and weekend work when required for projects.
