Social Enterprise Business Lead_

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working with Grandview leadership, the Social Enterprise (S/E) Business Lead will work with the Social Enterprise Clinical Manager and other Managers to implement, coordinate, and promote the Social Enterprise programs at Grandview.

Working across the organization, the S/E Business Manager will develop revenue-generating programs that are self-sustaining and facilitate the growth of Social Enterprise Grandview activities.

The S/E Business Manager will take responsibility for the commercial and operational management as it relates to the non-clinical aspects of all programming for Grandview Social Enterprise.


Responsibilities:

The Social Enterprise (S/E) Business Lead will work with the Social Enterprise Clinical Manager and other Managers to implement, coordinate, and promote the Social Enterprise programs at Grandview by:

  • Develop a portfolio of S/E programs based on local demand that are also self-sustaining and self
- funding.

  • Develop a culture of social entrepreneurism.
  • Development and update of the Social Enterprise business plan.
  • Planning, coordination, implementation, and administration of Grandview S/E activity.
  • Implement and oversee effective business processes in all of Grandview S/E functions.
  • Monitor and interpret legislation, regulations and agreements relating to S/E programs in a notfor
- profit setting.

  • Foster team cohesion and team engagement with all S/E programs and across all other Grandview programs where social enterprise intersects.
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the key program activities.
  • Continually monitor and determine appropriate staffing levels within S/E programs particularly as they relate to business administration activity.
  • Develop, apply, and utilize S/E best practices in existing and new programming.
  • Update all S/E agreements and contracts, as necessary.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business/Finance and /or MBA
  • 57 years' experience working and/or managing a small business model in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • 35 years working in a health care environment.
  • Good knowledge of the Ontario Autism program.
  • High focus on innovation, collaboration, and communication.
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
  • Past sales experience an asset.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a willingness to learn, educate and foster team growth.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Experience working in both for profit and notforprofit sectors.
