- Operate heavy loading equipment to efficiently manage earthmoving and material handling tasks within sewer and watermain construction projects.
- Ensure the correct usage of equipment to minimize downtime and maintenance, following safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and report any malfunctions or the need for substantial repairs.
- Collaborate with the construction team to plan, execute, and adjust work sequences based on project demands and weather conditions.
- Adhere to environmental guidelines and company policies regarding the proper disposal of materials and management of resources.
- Proven experience as a loader operator or in a similar role in construction or related fields.
- Valid drivers license and own form of transportation
- Strong understanding of construction and safety principles.
