- Work on electrical design, PLC programming, HMI design, SCADA systems, and troubleshooting/testing/debugging.
- Develop project schedules and budgets in collaboration with clients and internal project management resources, ensuring project deliverables are completed to client satisfaction while fostering a culture of safety.
- Participate in planning sessions that identify industry business drivers and trends, attend client field service and emergency calls, and share technical expertise at customer meetings.
- Provide superior client experiences by partnering with your internal team to cohesively deliver vision, energy, and intensity that exceeds client expectations.
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in the Automation industry as an engineer, technologist, and/or project manager, technically delivering on projects.
- Proven track record in design, procurement, programming, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems including PLCs (Rockwell, Toyopuc, Siemens or similar), HMIs (Rockwell Plant PAX, Aveva InTouch/OMI, and others), instrumentation, VFDs and servos, and network design.
- Experience with network architecture design, system virtualization, and AutoCAD/Electrical Design.
- Strong client‑focused approach, excellent communication, and proven commitment to safety.
- Reliable transportation; ability to travel within the US and Canada.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop a team.
- Stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, talk and hear regularly.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
