    St. Patrick Regional Secondary is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school with 500 students from Grades 8 to 12 located in Vancouver's picturesque Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, the traditional, unceded, and ancestral territory of the xwməθkwəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ First Nations.

    Core Competencies & Specific Qualities:
    ● Compassion and care for the mental well-being of young people
    ● Understanding of and affinity for working in a Catholic school environment
    ● Dynamic, energetic, willing to work collaboratively with other counsellors and teachers
    ● Master's Degree in Counselling
    ● Teaching Certification preferred

    Responsibilities will include:
    ● Meet with and counsel young people in a school setting
    ● Refer students to appropriate health care agencies and providers when necessary
    ● Liaise with administrators, teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals
    ● Work with teachers and student leaders to promote positive mental health, and social and emotional well-being
    ● Contribute to co-curricular/extra-curricular life of the school
