Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation and logistics activities to ensure efficient operations.


Responsibilities:

• Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and dispatch drivers
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Analyze delivery routes and optimize for efficiency
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely deliveries
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Monitor supply chain activities to prevent delays
• Handle phone systems to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with thirdparty logistics providers (3PL) for seamless operations

Skills:

- dispatch software

• Strong understanding of supply chain processes
• Ability to type quickly and accurately
• Experience in data entry with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Capacity to analyze transportation data for decisionmaking
• Familiarity with various phone systems for communication purposes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus
