We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) R&D team to support Alexion's Global Portfolio in new intervention modalities and therapeutic areas to bring essential medicines to our patients. The GSS R&D organization is undergoing a transformative journey to meet the rapidly changing needs of the business.
With our "Growth Through Innovation (GTI)" initiative, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our R&D organization to ensure the delivery of vital medicines to patients with rare diseases across 100 countries worldwide. As a Global Strategic Sourcing Director, you will lead the development of category strategies for CRO outsourced clinical services in the Nephrology Therapeutic area. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will provide insights on market dynamics and best practices to enhance value, mitigate risks, and guarantee quality and cost-effectiveness.
Your main focus will be on establishing a top-notch Category Management and Strategic Sourcing program for CRO outsourced clinical services, actively engaging in building a global network of preferred suppliers. Success in this role relies on your strategic vision and effective operational implementation.
