Pay rate:
$26.50/hr

This is a U5 Step 1 rate as per the salary scale as stated in the Collective Agreement between Salal Sexual Violence Support Centreand MoveUP (COPE, Local 378).

Union:
This is a Unionized position. Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre's Union Representation is with MoveUP, (COPE, Local 378).


Remote Working:
This is a hybrid position with a combination of in-office and some remote work as directed by management

Work Performed

Fundraising Stewardship Program

• Lead and enhance the Fundraising Team's stewardship matrix ensuring timely, strategy donor stewardship occurs
• With support from the Manager of Fundraising, lead Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre's stewardship strategy to recognize and steward many kinds of donors including: family foundations, corporations, individual donors, monthly donors, donors who donate inkind, peer to peer fundraisers and new donors
• Generate print and digital stewardship content, including thank you letters, thank you cards, gift receipt confirmations, stewardship reports, new donor packages, video thank you messages and reference receipts
• Initiate and coordinate strategic communications with donors and external stakeholders (in person and virtually) in support of fundraising program goals example: monthly donor upgrades and renewals, legacy giving dialogues
• Lead in the annual evaluation of current stewardship strategies and support with the implementation of new tactics to enhance and streamline stewardship practices ongoingly
• Work with the Manager of Fundraising and Communications to customize stewardship based on various donor demographics and segments
• Participate in and support Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre's fundraising campaigns and events such as the Champions for Streaming for Survivors, December 6th Event, and silent auction. Provide onsite event support as required
• Work with external donors and community members for third party fundraising events to generate revenue for Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre
• Provides admin support for the Fund Development team including social media and digital content generation
• Executes initiatives guided by program guidelines and procedures adjusting as required to manage and meet predetermined timelines
• Lead in office stewardship tasks such as mailouts and thankathons and provide guidance to program staff, board members and volunteers supporting with these tasks

Data and Administration

• Process fundraising program invoices from vendors, and support with the coordination of invoices for Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre's revenue as required
• Oversee weekly and monthly mail outs
