In preparation for potentially serving as a regional evacuation center during the upcoming wildfire season, the City of Prince George is hiring Casual ESS Operations Coordinators****_

About The Opportunity:

_**In the event the City establishes an emergency reception centre, the ESS Operations Coordinators will ensure the team of Emergency Support Services Representatives are scheduled to work on an as required basis to provide timely registration and referral support to evacuees.

The ESS Operations Coordinators are also responsible for initiating the ESS callout procedures at the request of the ESS Director.

Keeping communication lines open through daily briefings and debriefings to ESS Representatives as well as routine situation reports to the ESS Director are also key responsibilities of these rewarding roles.

The nature of this work requires short notice availability. Training will be provided, and attendance is a mandatory requirement of employment. Training dates will be scheduled in April.
