Job Overview

This role covers two major facilities at Hillside Centre and South Hills Tertiary Mental Health.

About the Position

The Dietitian will be part of a multidisciplinary health care team, responsible for providing nutrition care and support to individuals, patients, residents, and groups. The key responsibilities include conducting nutrition assessments, developing care plans and documenting them in patient records. Additionally,
together with other healthcare professionals,the Dietitian will create intervention strategies and monitor progress through goal setting,maintain accurate documentation,counsel patients on nutritional practices,present educational programs,and consult regularly with multidisciplinary teams.
Moreover,the position involves acting as a resource to fellow healthcare professionals within Interior Health's systems.
The selected candidate is expected participate in facilitatingthe development of guidelines regarding healthy eating habits alongside research into continuous quality improvement measures.
