With a passion for helping homeowners reimagine their indoor and outdoor space, you will have an understanding of current social media platforms, and keen interest in learning and growing in an ever-changing social media environment.

As a Social Media Specialist, you will work alongside our marketing team, developing media content and strategies that align with our business objectives.

Develop engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Manage social media accounts and engage with followers to increase brand awareness and engagement
Build relationships with influencers to promote our brand and products
Monitor social media trends, and adjust social media strategies accordingly
Staying uptodate on industry trends
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that social media strategies align with overall marketing plans
Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
Measure and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns
Analyze social media metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and conversions, to determine the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make datadriven decisions
Manage social media campaigns and work with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns, including paid social media advertising, to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions
Manage social media comments and reviews with professionalism and promptness

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

1-2 years of experience in social media marketing
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related fields
Ability to commute to Bolton, ON as well as on location production sites (including retailers, contractor worksites, homeowners, etc.)
Experience working with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tik Tok, and YouTube
Proficiency with photography, videography and digital designs (Adobe CC Suite & Canva)
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and informative content
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, and provide recommendations to enhance programs and followers
Familiarity with social media management tools
