Qualifications:
In order to be competitive for this position you must have:
- Certificate or Diploma in accounting or working towards the completion of an accounting-related program
- Minimum 2years of relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks Online is an asset.
Description
The varied duties shall include:
- Process vendor invoices and team member expenses accurately in a timely manner for multiple divisions
- Responsible for coding of invoices; requesting management approval
- Match invoices with purchase orders, packing slips; following up with variances between purchase orders and vendors invoices
- Coding and posting invoices
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Weekly EFT payment processing
- Filing and organization of unpaid and paid invoices
- Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
- Correspond and respond to inquiries with vendors and team members in a professional manner
- Process and manage credit card statements
- Assist with the ongoing development of A/P processes
- Other duties, as assigned from time to time
