JOB PURPOSE:

Your primary focus will be developing content strategies for various channels across the customer lifecycle for various clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the shape of content for some of the world's leading brands, deliver creative guidance to engaged clients globally, and strengthen the experience for millions of customers.


Working closely with digital strategists, design, copy, and client stakeholders, you will help define best practices and create go-forward recommendations for content across multiple channels.

You'll present on and guide the execution, testing, and rolling out of your recommendations. You'll also take point on documenting and governing the best practices you help identify (through style guides, tone of voice guidance, content calendars, taxonomies, etc.)


A highly visible, cross-functional role, you'll share your expertise with stakeholders across Creative and Strategy teams, contributing to the growth of Content Strategy at DEPT.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop content strategies for various channels and platforms, with a focus on CRM, Display, and Social
  • Audit existing content and customer journeys to inform your strategies
  • Conduct research through a variety of methods (ex: data analysis, interviews, etc.)
  • Thoughtfully document your findings and recommendations in decks
  • Clearly communicate your work via inperson/virtual presentations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to internal and external team meetings, facilitating conversations around content strategy
  • Ensure timely progress through collaboration with internal team, crossfunctional partners, and account managers
  • Share ideas and industry trends on content strategy to colleagues through informal communication and formal presentations and training sessions.

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:


  • 1+ years of experience as strategist, content strategist, or content manager
  • History of agency and clientfacing work
  • Quick, eager learner
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of content (code, metadata, automation)
  • Experience with creative AI generation
  • Experience with brand storytelling and creative concepting
  • Experience working with UX designers, copywriters, and developers a plus.
  • A curious, original thinker who can develop and communicate strategies that provide real value to our clients.
  • Understanding of marketing, creative, communications, and business
  • A track record of creating customercentric work efficiently and effectively, in collaboration with a crossfunctional team
  • Stellar communication (written, verbal, inperson/oncamera) and presentation skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic collaborator who builds rapport quickly and maintains great relationships with their clients and colleagues.
