  • In this role, you will:_


Be accountable for providing a full range of administrative and programme support requirements to the Director of Aviation Operations (Manitoba) and the Director of Aviation, BC, and the Aviation Programme.

Support and represent the offices of the Directors through relationship and stakeholder management, relying on your solid understanding of the language and structure of Babcock's in-service support roles and the industries they serve.


This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Provide executivelevel administrative support in managing the offices of both Directors of Aviation and Operation.
  • Review & approve direct reports' timesheet entries.
  • Make timesheet entries & time away requests.
  • Provide administrative support to both the BC and MB Aviation Programmes:
  • Coordinate meetings including drafting agendas, preparing and distributing meeting materials, minute-taking, post-meeting support, and hospitality and visitor coordination.
  • Research and produce reports, presentations, speaking notes, and adhoc project work as required.
  • Provide programme support to the management team, including the coordination of departmental initiatives, tracking, and following up on timelines and deliverables.
  • Management of the Babcock Canada Aviation Services SharePoint site.
  • Manage documentation and records including electronic and hard copy filing, archiving.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to office administration policies and procedures.
  • Editor and coordinator of the weekly Aviation communications newsletter (MB & BC).
  • Plan and facilitate events as required (MB & BC).
  • Winnipeg Specific:
  • Manage the daily administrative needs for the Winnipeg office including stationary, and other supplies and processes as needed.
  • Manage the Winnipeg meeting rooms & guest/breakout offices.
  • Coordinate the Social / Workplace Culture Committee for the Winnipeg office.
  • Management of the Aviation Management Meeting and associated OneNote (MB).
  • Management of the Aviation Managers calendar (MB).
  • BC Specific:
  • Manage the daily administrative needs for the four operating bases, including stationary, and other supplies and processes as needed.
  • Manage the offices of the four operating bases.
