Position Overview
The Lead Installer is responsible for delivering unparalleled customer service through installing all of Solaris's product offerings.

They will do so in a way that upholds our dedication to providing customers with outstanding customer service and quality craftsmanship.

Management and supervision skills are key.


Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the position include but at not limited to:

  • Learning, understanding, and installing our complete product line including training, but not limited to executive power screens, power-retractable awnings, fixed screen systems, roll shutters, and screen door products
  • Providing accurate final measurements and communicating site requirements based on onsite visits
  • Assisting in coordination of installation helpers
  • Following work schedules and ensuring that installs are done to the highest standard and completed in the time allotted while upholding quality control standards
  • Upholding customer service expectations on site
  • Clearly communicating to both customer and office staff regarding project requirements and details
  • Ensuring equipment, stationery and tools are maintained and treated with a high level of respect and safety

Job Qualifications & Required Experience

  • 4+ years of Home Building, Cabinet Making or Carpentry experience is an asset
  • A ticket or diploma in a trade would be preferred
  • Must have a clean driver's license and be insurable to drive company vehicles
  • Strong knowledge of power tools is considered an asset
  • Must know how to read, write add and subtract imperial fractions
  • Previous installation experience would be considered an asset
  • The ability to work well in teams
  • Working carefully with highend product
  • Effective written and oral communication in English
  • Enthusiasm for working outdoors
  • Personable when working with customers onsite
  • Takes pride in their job and quality of work
  • Comfortable on a ladder
  • Able to lift 80lbs
