Description

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents
• Collect payments from customers and provide receipts as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts for loading and unloading purposes
• Strong physical stamina to handle heavy packages and endure long hours on the road
• Basic automotive repair skills to address minor issues that may arise during deliveries
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to ensure timely deliveries

• Mississauga, ON L5L 1X2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Class 1 Licence (preferred)
