Who are we looking for?
The DPF Company Inc.
is looking for an efficient and technically savvy DPF Shop Territory Service Team Lead playing a key leadership role in the Operations Department responsible for profitable and effective management of assigned DPF shops.
Lead a team of technicians, and apprentices in all aspects of productivity, including diagnostics, service, filter cleaning, invoicing, and housekeeping.
You will oversee operations of our shops inMississauga, Ottawa, and
Montréal.

What you offer:
- 35 years leadership experience in technical service environment, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (required)
- Associates or Tech School degree. (preferred)
- Valid Driver's License, class G or class 5. (required)
- Welldeveloped oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to effectively instruct employees, and also effectively file reports to the upper management of the organization. (required)
- High computer literacy, which involves being able to work with Microsoft packages. (required)
- Ability to influence individuals and teams in order to achieve set or desired goals and objectives. (required)
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Establish shop's objectives, jointly with their supervisor, and attain them.
- Manage the budget for shop supplies, repairs and maintenance.
- Verify shop's operational reports and productivity. Control equipment maintenance and shop supplies costs. Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Keep a balanced stock, corresponding to the needs of the shop and wholesale customers and the public. Work with the purchasing department to establish/correct mins and maxes.
- Manage administrative requirements such as cost coding and time and materials allocations, job stories etc. Ensure that all orders are stocked and recorded according to instructions.
- Handle customer complaints immediately working with technician and sales teams, based on the instructions of their operational manager.
- Follow up and verify invoicing, customer accounts, claims and credits, to ensure that they are accurate.
- Ensure that all parts are correctly labelled, and that credit is granted for returned parts. Manage returned parts and subtract them from the inventory once credit has been granted.
- Install and implement measures to prevent theft in the warehouse.
- Prioritize and assign work to meet customers' needs, moving technicians across the region.
- Some handson technician work may be required.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of DPF Co.'s assets.
- Optimize customer pickup and dropoff (last mile logistics)
- Coach and mentor technicians. Monitor associate work levels, redirect workforce across the region to ensure smooth operations run.
- Conduct formal evaluations of the performance of the personnel reporting to them, at set intervals. Train and motivate the personnel reporting to him/her and participate in hiring these personnel, jointly with his/her supervisor.
- Take part in management meetings.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Perform other duties, based on management requirements, instructions, and staffing.

$38.00-$40.00 per hour
