We are currently seeking a Door Technician for our Door & Hardware Division.Southwest has been a leading sub-contractor in the London and surrounding area for over 35 years.
With over 40 employees in a 28,000 SF modern facility, we are able offer a diverse portfolio of work ranging from Hollow Metal Doors/Frames, Wood Doors, Architectural Hardware, Automatic Operators, Toilet Partitions and Washroom Accessories.

- Ability to communicate with building owner/managers, job site superintendents as well as other workforces
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Hang hollow metal and wood doors
- Install mechanical & electrified door hardware
- Install Toilet Partitions and Washroom Accessories
- Install Automatic Operators and terminate low voltage wiring
- Knowledge of Division 8 Commercial Doors, Frames and Hardware an asset
- Must be proficient in all skills relating to finish carpentry and be able to work independently
- Requires close attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Must work safely and be able to perform lifting up to at least 80lbs
- Valid drivers license
Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
