Job Purpose:


Job Background/Context:


There is a wide array of projects that are ongoing and the Lead Business Analyst will lead business analyst team, get an exposure to all facets of LPM Business, whilst working closely with business and different technology teams within FRM.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Analysis, Functional Requirements

  • Work with stakeholders in Trading Business, Technology and PMO to run meetings, coordinate and gather business requirements
  • Work with stakeholders across business and different teams, to understand the business and process
  • Create high quality documentation for Business and Functional Requirements
  • Manage traceability of requirements from BRD till Testing / Results.
  • Analyze huge data sets, create flow diagrams, prepare high level summaries and workflows
  • Engaging successfully with software developers and QA testers to ensure quality delivery, on time
  • Assist in project execution through JIRA, providing tracking to technical teams and status updates to internal and business stakeholders

Development Value:


The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team, define the new product suite IRIS to be used within Citi's LPM business.

As the platform supports all products traded within LPM business, the role has high visibility and individual will be considered a critical partner across the various technology and business stakeholder teams.


Knowledge/Experience:


  • At least 68 years' experience as Business Analyst with any Investment/ Global Bank
  • At least 1215 years' overall experience working in a Banking/Financial services industry
  • Should understand full front to back workflow
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of Loans, CDS, Bonds, Rates is a plus

  • Strong analysis skills; ability to create business analysis from scratch, ability to troubleshoot data quality issues
  • Supervise daytoday staff management issues, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching and other duties and functions as assigned
  • Ability to work as part of various teams and under pressure
  • Able to prioritize conflicting tasks, identifying what is essential and focusing on such
  • Positive attitude, hardworking and ability to take initiative

Education Level:


Strong academic record ideally with a Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline from a top tier University.

Specialization in Finance will be an added advantage.
