Who We Are
The Academic Advisor works as part of the Student Engagement and Retention Advising team.

The Academic Advisor works in a developmental capacity with undergraduate students, including prospective and new students, undeclared students, and students in academic difficulty, and assists them in developing academic plans that support their academic, personal and career goals.

The position advises on career options, reviews and recommends options available to students in academic difficulty, and refers students to appropriate resources available through other University departments, and in the broader community.

The Academic Advisor works with students in crisis and handles confidential student information appropriately.
