Details:
Part time, Days, 25 hours per week, 3-week rotating schedule

Schedule:

Week 1:11:00AM to 7:00PM Friday; 10:00AM to 6:00PM Saturday, Sunday

Week 2:10:00AM to 6:00PM Friday, Wednesday; 11:00AM to 7:00PM Tuesday

Week 3:6:30AM to 2:30PM Saturday, 11:00AM to 7:00PM Sunday, Wednesday; 10:00AM to 6:00PM Monday

Pay Scale:
$ $23.10 per hour

Location:
Rosslyn Place, Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5B 4T2

Typical Duties:
Kitchen duties include: food preparation, portioning and labeling food, cleaning kitchen areas, dining areas, and equipment, dishwashing, preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables

Dining Room duties include:

greeting the residents, serving meals and beverages, setting and clearing tables, assisting residents at the buffet table as needed, assisting with meal attendance checks, and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences:

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required
Experience in food preparation is an asset
Experience as a server in a dining room is preferred

Other Requirements:

Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner
Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
