Essential to TC Transcontinental Packaging operations, the Laminator Operator performs is responsible for operating film laminating machine to produce material with the highest degree of quality at high output with the lowest possible cost and with a minimum of scrap.

When your actions lead to success.

Prepare laminator for startup by ensuring that glue ratios are precise, rollers and machine are clean, and no scratches are present.
Complete quality control report for each roll of film produced.
Report any equipment or material problems to team/team leader immediately for prompt correction of problem.
Participate in general cleanup for following shift change.
Clean each roll rack before it leaves your work area.
Responsible for all in process inspection, communicating any possible defects to downstream processes.
Communicate issues to other departments via roll tags, comments in digital format and/or signage on rolls.
Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
