Qualifications:


Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers in a happy, upbeat manner as they come through the front doors, and set the scene for them to have a good time.
  • Prepare and serve drinks as requested by our customers. Suggest substitutions when necessary
  • Suggest new drinks to patrons and answer questions about any of the drinks we serve so our customers get just what they want during a visit to our Branch.
  • Serve and prepare nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks by following standard recipes, or take custom orders from patrons to make their drinks how they prefer.
  • Respond quickly to any requests from customers in a professional, polite way that encourages them to open up and spend more time at our location.
  • Guarantee that the bar, glasses and any materials used to mix drinks are clean and displayed in an attractive, functional manner.
  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
  • Heat up food for customers as required.
  • Answer the telephone when admin staff is not present
  • Know and comply with all safety, health and hygiene policies and standards set by our organization and Public Health department in Ontario.
  • Take payments and make correct change to customers cash only
  • Monitor, order and restock bar inventory to keep operations flowing smoothly.
  • Other tasks as directed by the Branch Manager.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience
  • Cash handling experience
  • Speak, read and write English
  • Must have Smart Serve and willing to obtain food handler certificate.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to bend and reach frequently.
  • Available for a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
