Division of Internal Medicine at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital is seeking full-time General Internists to join their team. NRGH, the primary referral center for central Vancouver Island, offers excellent diagnostic services, a dedicated ICU, renal dialysis unit, and a cancer center. Our group members have subspecialty interests in various areas such as respirology, nephrology, infectious diseases, and more. General Internists practice cardiovascular medicine and collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists in Victoria.

• Eligible for licensure with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
• Willingness to handle three to four 24h calls per month
• Participate in managing complex medical patients, providing general cardiac care, and peri-operative consults

We are looking for individuals committed to delivering high-quality service to central Vancouver Island. Candidates can expect to read ECGs, supervise treadmills and/or MIBIs, and partake in various outpatient clinics and units within the hospital. There are both hospital-based and outpatient practice opportunities available.
