***The bookkeeper, is responsible for supporting the operations of the Accounting and Tax functions. The bookkeeper assists the preparers with such tasks as bookkeeping, compilation of working papers, GST/PST preparation, WCB preparation, and financial statement preparation. The bookkeeper may also assist with miscellaneous tasks and special projects.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to the Partners, including preparing synoptics, Quickbook files to complete general ledgers, and light tax preparation.

• Bookkeeping (Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online)
• Compilation of year end working paper files using Caseware
• Preparation of simple, T1, T2 income tax returns
• Preparation of T4 and T5 supplementaries and slips
• Preparation of GST / PST / WCB returns

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least three years' experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role in a business context; and
• High school diploma (Bachelors degree (BA, BSc, BCOM, BBA)
• Knowledge of Excel is required
• Knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online, Intuit Profile, and Caseware is preferred

$25.00-$28.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
